Got my 10/22 spare parts kit today
 

What's interesting is that I bought one last weekend and one this weekend, same model but they are different. The difference in the serial numbers is about 30,000 units.

The top one I bought last Saturday and it has the aluminum trigger housing/trigger and standard mag release. The bottom one is a newer serial number and has the recently switched to plastic trigger housing/trigger, and now comes with an expanded mag release.

Still love both guns. I hate to buy from Walmart instead of my local small shop, but the 22" barrel version is only made for walmart and the stock is longer for my 6'4" frame. It's just a perfect 22 for me.

Scott, where did you get the spare parts kit from? I bought a black synthetic Ruger stock for my stainless 10-22, it looks mean! I guess your spare parts kit is your second gun, I'm a little slow today!

I like my short barrel K models with polymer stocks, everyone should have at least two 10/22s.

(and 10,000 rnds of ammo)
